What better way to celebrate the 55 year anniversary of diplomatic relations between Singapore and Japan than turning up at this Ultraman pop-up experience at the Night Safari?
Running now until October 31, this pop aims to spread the message of wildlife conservation through the franchise’s popular characters. Activities at the pop-up include the Ultraman Digital Trail – where visitors help Ultraman and Merliger (the superhero version of the Merlion) battle the monsters such as Eleking III and Zumbolar from the Ultraman universe. These monsters act as threats to wildlife, like pollution and habitat loss.
Dine in at the Ulu Ulu Safari Restaurant where Ultraman-themed dishes are served. Tucked into the Ultraman chicken karaage curry rice, Ultraman mini Impossible burger and the Hanzagiran fried fish and salted egg carbonara. The themed dining experience is available from 6.30pm to 11.30pm daily.
Photo opportunities are also available at the site. Snap photos with Ultraman and Merliger at the Naracoorte Cave and Ultraman Mural, which is painted by local artist DPLMT. The mural showcases Ultraman and Merliger’s fight against Kaiju.
The Ultraman pop-up experience runs till October 3 at the Night Safari, from 6.30pm to 12am.
