St Paul’s Church

West of Kandy’s Temple of the Tooth is another important religious spot. St Paul’s dates back to the 1840s, when the church served as the Garrison church for the British troops. It is one of the most distinctly British churches on the Island, and the period it was built in is evident in the symmetrical architecture.
