Breaking the Karmic Cycle

The Arpeggio Creative Dance Academy led by Nilan Maligaspe will be presenting ‘Breaking the Karmic Cycle’, at the Lionel Wendt. The ballet will be a retelling of the early life of Lord Buddha, following him from the time he denounces his life as Prince Siddhartha up to his return to the palace as Buddha. The performance will be the first-of-its-kind to explore the very well known story of Lord Buddha through classical western ballet and invites viewers of all religion and ages to watch.
