Romeo and Juliet is a ballet in three acts by S Procofiev, based on William Shakespeare’s play – Romeo and Juliet. Prokofiev reused music from the ballet in three suites for orchestra and a solo piano work. Revised and produced by Y Grogorovich, artists and orchestra are from Bolshoi Theatre. The artists and their characters are appearing in Romeo and Juliet are as follows: as Romeo is Irek Mukhamedov, as Juliet is Natalia Bessmertnova and the rest would take on the following roles Kapuletti – Andrey Sitnikov, Montekki – Aleksey Leparevich, Kapuietti’s wife – Irina Nesterova, Tibalt – Alexander Vetrov, Mercutio – Mkhail Sharkov, Paris – Aleksey Fadeechev.
