Kandy National Museum

This former palace was established during the time of the last monarchy in the Island. The museum is part of the palace complex near the Temple of the Tooth, and houses over 5,000 artefacts. The diverse set of objects range from weapons to jewellery to tools from the Kandyan Kingdom.
