Time Out says

‘Sasara Wasana Thuru – Amara Gee Rasoghaya’, is the first in a line-up of musical treats for the fans of Pandit Amaradeva on the occasion of the maestro’s 88th birthday. An exclusive collection of songs by the legendary vocalist, it will take place at the BMICH on December 5, 2015.

The second event will be a series of classical music workshops on tabla and sitar from December 6 –7, conducted by eminent music gurus from India at the Indian Cultural Centre, Colombo, free of charge.

On December 8, the BMICH will again host ‘Sangeetha Sadhana’, featuring two world acclaimed Indian artistes, Pandit Anindo Chatterjee and Purbayan Chatterjee, together with the Sri Lankan artistes Ravibandu Vidyapathy, Upul Madhushanka, Aruna Siriwardane and Rakhita Wickramaratne.

It will be a unique treat for both Sri Lanka’s greatest musician and for his fans.
