Dhanak

Woven, knotted, and handcrafted carpets, kilims, and contemporary rugs are sold at this boutique store. It has a wide selection of designs and textures, which will complement any home. ‘Dhanak’ means ‘spectrum of colour’ and certainly lives up to its name. All carpets – sourced from as far and wide as Pakistan and Afghanistan – are hand knotted, while the kilims are hand woven. Both are made from 100 percent wool. Some of the rugs are distinctly Moorish, but you don’t have to go through the stress of a Moroccan souk to browse the intricate patterns.
