Urban Legends is the first Freestyle Football Championship to enter the streets of Colombo. Freestyle football is an athletic art of handling a football using all parts of the body in synch with music. Athletes will go head to head to entertain the crowds and to perform their skills during a time period of three minutes while being judged on their talent, technique and rhythm.
This one-of-a-kind programme recognises the rare talent found from university students all around the country and it is an excellent opportunity to create an an open platform to engage and empower students while correspondingly aiming at creating a change in the society. The mission is to bring the youth together to inspire the love for the sport and experience of street festival.
