Combined Theatre Company presents ‘Playing Doctor’, a rib tickling comedy written by Billy Van Zandt and Jane Milmore, featuring Michelle Herft, Delon Weerasinghe, Danu Innasithamby, Shanaka Amarasinghe, Ashini Fernando, Jivan Goonetilleke, Ravin Fernando and Pramukshi Kariyawasam. Directed by Vinodh Senadeera and produced by Marlon Jesudason this is a story about Rob Brewster and his parents.
Rob Brewster's parents are very proud of their son- the doctor. Little do they know that Rob has used all the money they gave him for medical school to pursue his fledgling writing career. When his parents arrive for a visit, he quickly enlists the help of his secretary to be his nurse and his roommate Jimmy to round up his actor friends to pretend to be patients.
