French Spring is coming! "A French Connection" is the Sri Lankan Multidiscipilnary Festival jointly organised by Ambassade de France a Sri Lanka et aux Maldives and the Alliance Francaise de Kotte in Colombo. The festival will showcase the excellence of French culture and its modern aspects through various events organised both in Colombo and Kandy. 

For the Fete de la Musique on 21st June, the Alliance Francaise de Kotte will host an Open Mic Night. The party will continue at the Cafe Francais (Park Street) with the famous DJ, Joachim Labrande from Paris. His live show will be held at the Amaya Hills, Kandy on 23rd June.

 Thomas Leburn from the French National Choreographic Centre of Tours (CCNT) and Kapila Palihawandana from nATANDA will pool their experience during a free workshop on 11th of July. Two modern ballets, "Vannam" by nATANDA and "Another Look at Memory" by the CCNT will be unveiled at the Defense School Theatre. 

French street artist, DACO will trip from Colombo to Kandy to give a glimpse of his passion for graffiti, painting the walls with his abstract arts. He will also conduct workshops for the youngsters. You can also explore the photography of the French Photographer, Marie Caroline Senils.

Enjoy a special screening of "Django" at Majestic City, Colombo on 4th and 11th July. Discover sophisticated fashion world at the Fashion show by LIFT on 10th July at the Hilton Colombo. The French Spring Festival will be wrapped up with a French Comic and Literature programme with Ashok Ferry on 16th and 19th July.
