The Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre, High commission of India, Colombo in association with AAYUSH, Sri Lanka and Astanka Yoga Mandir will be organising a lecture on“Kitchen Chemistry – Fruits and Herbs for Immunity”.
Dr Vivian Sathiyaseelan, Head of the Department, Unit of Siddha Medicine, University of Jaffna will lecture on the day to day impact of the use of Herbs, spices and vegetables on wellness according to the Siddha Medical system.
Alongside the Kitchen Chemistry, Food Fun Fiesta will be held at the lawns of the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre on Saturday 15th December from 10 am to 1pm with mouth watering Indian cuisine from different states prepared by students and teaches of the cultural centre. Indian handicrafts, Mehendi, kurtas, sarees, and jewellery will also be showcased. Entrance to the event is free.
