It’s official: spring is here. It seems like it’s been a hell of a long time coming, but now that winter is finally gone, we’re 100 percent ready to get our spring on in a big way, especially when it involves all the great stuff we’ve packed into issue two of Time Out Switzerland, available for free right now.

There’s a guide to some of the alternative cultural celebrations taking place over the coming months, featuring everything from raclette-raving to art exhibitions in people’s homes. We also take a look at the Swiss bookshops that are changing things up and give you a bumper list of spring things to do that’ll have you itching to get out and about, from paragliding to pedalos to llama trekking.

After all that, you’ll need something to eat – probably a burger. Luckily for you, we’ve rounded-up some of Switzerland’s finest bespoke burgers. You’ll never need to hit a lousy fast-food joint again. And post-burger, make sure you check our pick of the coolest cocktail spots around the country.

Elsewhere, there’s an interview with the founder of wild and colourful party Glitterbox before it hits Zurich, ten things to discover at Bern’s Museum of Communication, a peak at the inimitable Wes Anderson’s new film ‘Isle of Dogs’ and the sleekest spring stores to hit for all your shopping needs. Or if you’re after something a little sunnier than a Swiss spring, we’ve got the low-down on where to stay and party in Ibiza.

And there’s more – oh, so much more. So pick up a copy a get stuck in!
