We have all played Uno at some point in our lives – it is, after all, one of the world’s most popular card games. If you’re planning to revisit your childhood, this soon-to-be-released super minimalist reinterpretation of the addictive card game would fit nicely into your adult life.

Uno Minimalista was originally fan art created by Brazilian designer Warleson Oliveira, who shared it online back in January. It got so much love from netizens that Mattel, the company behind Uno, decided to collaborate with Warleson and produce this sleek and stylish deck for real.

So far, Uno Minimalista has only been released in the United States, but now it’s coming to Japan. The streamlined logo on a ‘dark mode’ background, plus the bold colours with clean font and symbols will surely be a hit at your year-end holiday parties.

Uno Minimalista will be available beginning this Saturday December 12. However, you can preorder a deck now on Amazon for ¥1,540.
