Time to update your restaurant reservation wish lists: Every year, the World’s 50 Best ranks the top 50 restaurants on the planet, and 2025 is no exception, with this year's picks revealed during a ceremony in Turin, Italy on June 19.
After teasing our tastebuds earlier this month with the back-half of the 2025 rankings, which saw American-born dining rooms like SingleThread of Healdsburg, CA; Atelier Crenn of San Francisco, CA; and César and Le Bernardin of New York City among the 51-100 entries, devoted foodies now can feast their eyes on the main 50 Best list, which includes three North American restos on the coveted lineup.
New York's "New Korean" stunner Atomix—the flagship restaurant of husband-and-wife duo, chef Junghyun "JP" Park and manager Ellia Park, who also oversee fellow New York spots including Atoboy, Naro and Seoul Salon—was ranked No. 12 in this year's culinary pecking order, praised as "Korean dining at its very finest" with "dishes grounded in heritage, but distinct and innovative," per the World's 50 Best organizers. The acclaimed NYC spot (which has been previously honored by World's 50 Best, coming in at No. 8 in 2023 and No. 6 in 2024) is the sole U.S. restaurant to make the main 50 Best list.
RECOMMENDED: The cheapest Michelin-star restaurants in the U.S.

Atomix is joined by two beyond-the-border neighbors hailing from Mexico City, Mexico. Jorge Vallejo’s boundary-pushing Quintonil came in at No. 3 after Maido of Lima, Peru and Asador Etxebarri of Atxondo, Spain ("Focused on fresh, local ingredients and traditional Mexican flavours and techniques weaved into modern preparations, it is fast becoming a classic," reads Quintonil's World's 50 Best write-up). And Elena Reygadas's Mexican-meets-Mediterranean beaut Rosetta rounded out the continental showing at No. 48, with the awards body praising the chef for her extensive research in Mexican culinary traditions that she then interprets in a fresh new light.
