FATOUMATA DIAWARA - Francophonie Festival

Of Malian parentage, Fatoumata Diawara was born in Ivory Coast. After achieving local fame as a dancer she moved to Bamako and started an acting career. Alongside, she continued her cinematic activities, with numerous roles, appearances and musical input in multiple feature films, such as the awards winning Timbuktu. Fatoumata has spent the recent years touring the world; she is now in Accra for the first time for the pleasure of all! We have the honour of great performances by special artistes: Suga and  Sherifa Gunu - music (Ghana)
