Polish artist Marcin Białas examines how we live alongside nature, technology and an increasingly digital world. His drawings and intaglio metal prints pair a centuries-old printmaking technique, prized for precise lines and fine detail, with the language of contemporary art. The works probe where the physical world ends and the artificial begins, tracing connections between biology, culture and technology. Białas has taught at the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice since 2020 and exhibited widely across Europe, Canada and Japan.
