Walking into Central Chidlom right now feels less like shopping and more like stepping into a sci-fi dream. The building has been swallowed by light – seven zones in total – each one pulling you deeper with sound, colour and enough tech wizardry to make your phone camera sweat. One moment you’re under shifting beams that feel like a storm made of neon, the next you’re confronted with a Porsche 911 Carrera T glowing like some futuristic idol in the middle of a laser cathedral. It’s the kind of spectacle that makes you forget where the exits are. The best bit? It’s free. Just mind your camera lens – these lasers don’t play nice. Sometimes it’s better to leave the photos and let your retinas do the remembering.
