A shift in light can transform a familiar scene, and that simple idea drives SHADE, an exhibition by ‘Kiu’ Vanont Ruksiriphong. Drawing on his photography background, the artist uses watercolour to study light moving across people, flowers and everyday objects. Rather than dwelling on darkness, he focuses on the tones, colours and moods that emerge as the day changes. Each painting captures an unrepeatable moment, with loose brushwork adding his own reading of what he sees. Curated by Sophirat Muangkum, the exhibition is at FUJIFILM House of Photography in Siam Square One.
September 1-28. Free entry. FUJIFILM House of Photography, Siam Square One. 10am-10pm
