Dokkaew House Bar, also known as Ban Dokkaew, occupies an 80-year-old gingerbread-style teak house named after the large dokkaew tree by its gate. Shoes come off before you enter, giving the whole place the feel of a particularly beer-focused house party. Ten taps rotate through the draught selection, while two large fridges hold Thai craft beer and selected imports. Staff are happy to talk newcomers through the hops, and live music runs every Friday and Saturday.
