Get a free ride around Rattanakosin on double-decker bus

The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration provides a free shuttle on handsome double-decker buses and vintage trams for mourners to travel around the Rattanakosin Island between 09:00-20:00 during the mourning period in Bangkok. The buses and trams, borrowed from Jesada Technik Museum’s collection, run on a circular route with nine stops:

• Suan Santiporn
• Democracy Monument (Satriwithaya Girls' School)
• Phan Fah (at Royal Pavilion Mahajetsadabadin)
• Sky High Restaurant
• City Pillar Shrine
• Suan Chao Chet Building
• Sanam Luang
• World War I Monument
• Bangkok Tourism Division — underneath Phra Pinklao Bridge
