Edible flowers have long been part of Thai culinary culture for centuries. And to celebrate Central 70th anniversary, Central Embassy Shopping Complex’s acclaimed Thai food paradise Eathai returns to this cultural heritage to present you a wide range of regional Thai dishes cooked with edible flowers in a special event: “Floral Flavours,” taking place from 16 to 20 November.

Edible flower expert Poonsap “Pah Jai The Flower Witch” Chetleela is invited to create a special menu of dishes such as kanom kluay dok sanoh (steamed banana cake with sanoh flower), jui kuay dok mai (Chinese-style rice cake with flowers), miang kham dok mai (traditional Thai salad with flowers), kanom jeen nam prik (rice noodle with sweet and spicy curry), somtam dokmai (spicy papaya salad with flowers), and khao niao gai kapi dok sanoh (sticky rice with shrimp-paste chicken topped with sanoh flowers), for instance. Available alongside edible-flower dishes are delectable desserts inspired by various Thai flowers. Diners will also get to enjoy fun, flower-inspired workshops.
