THEA by Thara borrows inspriration from The Forbidden City for the fall collection

For this season, Tawanna Thara borrows inspiration from affluent motifs of The Forbidden City—and the lives of those who resided within it—for her feminine fashion label THEA by Thara. Named “The Porcelain Empress,” the collection features delicate blouses, dresses, and pants in colors reminiscent of Chinese flowers—peonies, for instance—and shapes that reflect the curves of Chinese porcelain.
