Time Out says

COMO Point Yamu resort is distinguished from the array of hotels and resorts in the paradisiacal island of Phuket for one thing—its iconic swimming pool that acts as a vantage point to the countless limestone karsts of UNESCO-protected Phang-nga Bay. In addition, the five-star resort proffers serene and comfortable accommodations, delicious and healthy dining choices, and a gamut of activities.

Located at the apex of Cape Yamu on the eastern side of Phuket, COMO Point Yamu boasts 106 rooms, suites and villas, each of which benefits from smartly designed, locally inspired interiors, breathtaking ocean views, and spacious king-sized beds that highlight luxurious Egyptian cotton sheets. Most of the resort, which was decorated by Italian designer Paola Navone, is dressed in burnt orange (an element borrowed from Buddhist monk robes), although the overall brilliance is broken up by the neutral tones of Thai-inspired elements like traditional wood tiles and woven rattan.

COMO Point Yamu has two in-house restaurants that are touted to be the pinnacle of gastronomy in Phuket. Nahmyaa specializes in authentic southern Thai cuisine, while La Sarena churns out Italian options and fresh seafood bites. Breakfast is also a highlight at COMO Point Yamu. Health-conscious guests will be delighted by the array of nutritious and surprisingly delicious choices. Marketed as COMO Shambala Cuisine, this fare mostly highlights raw food, unprocessed proteins and ingredients, and non-greasy bites.

Despite its isolated location, COMO Point Yamu offers a number of activities that will keep you busy during your stay. A free shuttle takes guests to the resort’s private beach club on another island, where you can soak in a salt-water swimming pool or engage in watersports like kayaking and paragliding. Back in the main resort, daily yoga and Pilate help keep you fit.
