Lunice at Beam; 9 pm; The tickets start at B300/inclusive of 1 drink

Montreal-born DJ and producer Lunice is hitting the deck of the main room at Beam this Friday. Lunice is known for his standout rap style and his unique mix of electro synth layering over bass and drum. 

Transport l Ouissam (Snug, Savage) at 12 x 12; 9 pm

This Friday, Transport invites Ouissam, a mastermind behind Hanoi's notorious club Savage, a curator of Equation Festival and a founder of Hong Kong's Cliche Records to takeover the deck at 12 x 12. Expect disco, house and techno tunes blasting all night from 9pm onwards.

King's Cup Elephant Boat Race & River Festival at Elephant Boat Race Ground; 12 pm; B200

Since 2001, Anantara Hotels and Resorts has kicked off different initiatives to raise funds—46 million baht so far—to support charitable initiatives for elephants around Thailand. Complete with numerous entertaining activities, the fanfare is making a return end of this March, transforming itself into King's Cup Elephant Boat Race & River Festival that promises all things more and more.

Circle and Silence at MOCA

"Circle and Silence," an art exhibition by Samran Chuepan focuses on the circle, its nothingness and its equivalent to silence. A circle appears in an empty apace, as it may appear to be nothing, however, unveils its movement within its friction of rotation. This phenomenon also applies to the silence, even if there’s no sound, that doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. The exhibition implies to the audience that non-existence are co-dependent with existence.

Passing a Window, I glanced into it at Gallery VER; 12 pm 

Photo exhibition Passing a window, I glanced Into It by Thai photographer Atit Sornsongkram teases the possibilities of photograph media, with its rules of having two dimensional depth. The artist experiments with reflection created by mirrors to challenge photograph's ability to display planes and dimension in terms of surface, image, and inside the image.
