Jai Thep Festival at Lanna Rock Garden, Chiangmai; B2,500 (3-day pass)

This three-day festival dedicated to art, music, and magic is returning for its fifth run at breezy and lush Lanna Rock Garden in Chiangmai. Musical acts include Bottlesmoker, Jon Sa Trinka, Rey&Kjavik, Khana Bierbood, Sanim Yok and more. Apart from cool musical performances, Jai Thep also boasts awe-inspiring art installations, live podcast shows, laughter yoga and energy healing workshops.

Maya music festival is making a huge comeback on 31 Jan to 1 Feb. Live performances, EDM and trap music will be playing live on four stages from headliners such as Suede, Kodaline, Illenium, Alan Walker, and R3hab. Poolside after parties round up the revelry.

Karma Krachao at Hiddenwoods; 11 am

The Karma Klique crew is set to throw a party in Bangkrachao with an absolutely stacked line-up. Catch sets by DJ Dustin (Germany), DJ Roberto (UK), Elaheh (Thailand), Michael Yume (UK), Molly (France) and Wong Echo (Thailand). Karma Krachao will have a limited 200-guest capacity, so it’s best to secure your tix early.

Karma Krachao After-party at De Commune; 10 pm; B250

Kostar's Exhibition - Fly Me to The Moon at SO Sofitel Bangkok; 9 am; free entry

French artist Kostar, who rose to fame in the ’90s for his vibrant and humorous urban artwork, is exhibiting a few of his masterpieces in the park lobby of SO/ Bangkok, including Mr. Balloon, a sculptural figure made of fiberglass and chromium on stainless steel. The artwork features a rotund figure with one giant eye, which reflects the artist’s global vision, and standing on one leg, a posture that conveys fragility and, at the same time, perfect balance.

All Things Left Behind at River City Bangkok; 10 am

Photographer Carolina Sandretto explores the idea of time and its passing through photography series that depicts images taken in three locations: Cuba, Svalbard in Norway, and Antarctica.
