Dark Disco: Showcase at Safe Room; 10 pm

If the darker side of techno is your thing, you may want to check out the Dark Disco showcase at Safe Room. Dark disco is a platform where people can connect through music, art and performance. The line-up includes Berlin Bunny, Mae Happyair, Wanton Witch, NT66, Takky and Eyesdice.

555 w/Yoshi Nori & Boogie G at De Commune; 9.30 pm; B300

Creative collective 555 is flying in Taipei-based DJ Yoshi Nori into the city. A prominent name in the house music scene, Nori is known for mixing raw house with minimal Detroit and post-punk beats. DJ Boogie G from Music Makes Me High and Sunju Hargun provide support.

Nature is not saddened at Kalwit Studio & Gallery; 10 am; free entry

Thai artist Chisanuphool “Kao” Presanvorakitkool has come up with a thought-provoking printmaking exhibition where he delves into the endless fight humans have with nature. Using wood engraving, the artist explores elements relating to god, mythology and religion to represent the force of nature. The exhibition reflects Kao’s view on how God is merely a human invention that involved from our understanding of nature.

Singha x Bkkbarcrawl presents Shou at Oneday Wallflowers; 7.30 pm; B700

For Chinese New Year this year, Bkkbarcrawl is inviting everyone to party in the Soi Nana/ Chinatown area and enjoy Chinese New Year activities, complimentary themed drinks and angpao envelopes all throughout the night.

The Green Market at Patom; 10 am; free entry

The Green Market returns for a second run at Patom on 25 Jan. Over 30 eco-friendly vendors come together to sell organic and vegan food, sustainable products, natural skincare, clothing and more. Check out the workshops in between shopping.

Ikigai Live Magick: Featuring Jai Thep Artists & More at Safe Room; 9 pm

Can’t wait to immerse in the magic of the Jai Thep Festival? On 25 Jan, Safe Room and Whiteline welcome a few of the DJs who will be spinning at the at the three-day music event, including Christ Burstein, Riyoon and Bonita Everett. Beekat, Kenji and Rui Tang provide support. As a bonus, artist Jesse Noemind will be creating a live digital painting onsite to enhance the entire experience.

Space Time: Lunar Ball at FooJohn Building; 7 pm

FooJohn Building teams up with Space Time and SoulBar to host the Lunar Ball. DJ Takamichi and Keith Edward will spin disco tunes on vinyl while Ralph.Wav and Professor Olas spin hip-hop beats. A live performance from The Lowdowns is an added bonus.

Jeff Bernat at Voice Space; 7 pm; B1,800

The Filipino-American singer, songwriter, and record producer brings his soulful R&B tunes and heartfelt lyrics to Bangkok for the first time. The star kicked off his music career by doing covers on YouTube.  In 2011, he released his debut album, The Gentleman Approach, containing the original hit track “Call You Mine,” which was featured on the Korean hit series You Are My Destiny (2014). His other smash singles include “Still,” “Wrong About Forever,” “Cruel,” and “Wish You Well.”
