With the general elections just (hopefully) around the corner, Thanathorn Juengroongruengkit, one of the heirs to Thailand’s biggest auto parts conglomerate, has teamed up with young activists and hipsters (including craft beer brewer Taopipob Limjittakorn) to launch a new political party called Anakot Mai or Future Forward Party. (They even hosted a press conference at the hip Warehouse 30).

The young politician and his peers claim (like many politicians before him) to bring new hope to Thai politics, and focus on equality and the voices of the young. Not too many policies have been announced so you may want to keep watching their next steps.
