It’s been five fabulous years for Awakening Bangkok's lighting installation festival in Charoenkrung—and it’s time to reawaken other neighborhoods. This year, Awakening Bangkok 2023 will take place in Phra Nakhon-Pak Klong Talad, the two intertwined quarters between two MRT stations, Sanam Chai and Samyod, in the Old Town.

Awakening Bangkok 2023 will come with the concept of Time Passage, reflecting the historical significance of the Old Town roads and canals as passages that have transported people, carriages, wealth, and remains for more than two hundred years.

The festival is scheduled to take place at the end of November, when the air is friendlier for walking the streets at night to admire the lights. Stay updated on Time Out for more details.
