Bangkok’s nightlife moves fast. One minute you’re lining up a casual drink, the next you’ve found yourself in a warehouse rave, a secret DJ on the stage and one too many drinks in your belly.

Recently ranking #8 in Time Out’s World's Best Cities list 2026, the city is well-known for thriving after the sun goes down. But finding out what’s on can be challenging, especially if you have specific tastes.

The city is also notoriously last minute, with posts appearing on Instagram sometimes just hours before the event starts and word-of-mouth only making its way to your ears after the night out has begun. Even at Time Out, where we publish a weekly ‘things to do in Bangkok’ listicle, we sometimes miss things as we trawl marketing and posts in search of the best.

Feeling our shared pain, a group of friends decided to make life easier for themselves – and for us all – with a new online platform that’s trying to bring some order to the chaos. Enter Bangkok Nights – a free website that pulls together party listings from hundreds of venues across the city into one clean, easy-to-navigate hub of nightlife.

No more hopping between club pages or messaging friends for last-minute tips – everything from DJ line-ups and music genres to entry fees and dress codes is laid out in one place, updated daily.

Parties and club events in Bangkok

As it stands, Bangkok Nights focuses purely on parties and club events (and don’t expect any red-light listings here), with filters that let you easily figure your night out on the town. Chase house, techno, hip-hop or something else entirely.

Just click, search and explore. There’s even a handy interactive map that helps show you where places are relative to the city – great for planning those easy to walk pub crawls.

Bangkok Nights, founded by party lovers

Behind the platform are three founders whose backgrounds read very Bangkok. Leo, a German software engineer; Eric, a French-Thai developer; and Knifey, a Thai content creator. So what’s the one thing they have in common? A love for nightlife. Are you surprised?

The story goes, when Eric relocated to the city in 2025, the trio connected the dots – and realised they’d all been solving the same problem for visiting friends: figuring out where to go, and fast.

Throwing away their Google Maps and messy WhatsApp groups, they decided to join forces to share their work with everyone, resulting in a startup that is both very international in order, yet hyper-local in style.

And while the website itself is the main event, the Bangkok Nights trio have been working hard building momentum on social media, even before the site launched.

If you’ve spent any time scrolling TikTok recently, chances are you’ve come across @bkk.nights. The account’s street interviews – probing Bangkok locals and travellers on everything from dating habits to party culture – racking up over 1.4 million likes in a matter of months. They’ve even collaborated with us here at Time Out, with more in the pipeline, so be sure to follow our fledgling Time Out Bangkok TikTok if you haven’t clicked sub already.

You can also follow them on Instagram, where posts get a bit more granular on what’s happening in the coming days and weeks.

With no subscriptions or ads in sight, this is a passion project of the highest order. And in a city where the best nights are often the hardest to find, Bangkok Nights might just be the shortcut everyone’s been waiting for.
