Which makes the timing rather perfect. Thailand marks Wan Mae, its own Mother's Day, on August 12, so the evening before GO GRRRLS crowns a different kind of mother altogether with CLUB CONFESSIONS.
The party takes over FV39 on Sukhumvit 39 from 9pm ‘til 2am on August 11, and it splits across two rooms with two very different missions. The Confessions Lounge is the sentimental one, all singing along and remembering the deep cuts. Next door, Confessions on the Dancefloor asks nothing of you but movement, sweat and release.
Queen JAI SIRA headlines with an exclusive Confessions II performance, while Azxula and crew bring vogue and ballroom to the floor. A rotating cast of DJs keeps things moving all night, among them Dookie, Peachji, Soshine, Craskey, Khun Na and Happy Bara. Presiding over the whole affair as door diva and host is the one and only Chaofah Van Cartier.
