Jimmy Carr has announced his brand new tour ‘Laughs Funny’ and, while most of his shows sit west on the map, he comes locked and loaded for the audiences of Bangkok

As a comedy veteran with multiple Netflix specials and millions of tickets sold across countless sold-out tours, his newest tour is set to bring his iconic laugh back to the stage once again. Long time fans don’t have to worry though, the ‘Laughs Funny’ tour features an all-new set packed with fresh material, along with his signature crowdwork favourites and witty comebacks.

But with just two Asian cities announced – Bangkok and Tokyo – there’s fierce competition among folks vying for a ticket, with some zones already sold out. Luckily, there’s some seats left, and here’s all you need to know about how to secure your seat. And maybe a heavy roasting if you’re lucky.

When and where

The ‘Laughs Funny’ tour comes to MuangThai Rachadalai Theatre in Din Daeng on January 16, 2027 at 7pm, with tickets priced from B1,600 to B2,700. Tickets have already started to go on sale and are selling out fast so get your tickets before they’re gone.

Official tickets can be found on Megatix, but younger comedy fans will have to sit this one out as the show is restricted to audiences aged 16 and over.

How to get there

MuangThai Rachadalai Theatre is a Broadway-style venue located on the 4th floor of Esplanade Shopping Mall on Ratchadapisek Road and is accessible via the MRT Thailand Cultural Centre Station (Exit 3). We would suggest bringing a light jacket, because unlike the show, the air conditioning in the auditorium is no joke and can get quite cold.

Grab your tickets, your jacket and prepare for a night of laughs in Bangkok’s very own Broadway theatre.
