The event features a series of design showcases and exhibitions from more than 2,000 designers and entrepreneurs, and a gamut of activities and markets that aim to ignite one's creativity, and passion for life and art.

The 2020 edition of Bangkok Design Week takes place at various locations, not only in Charoenkrung but also at new creative districts like in Ari, Samyan, and Thonglor. Here are some of the highlights you shouldn't miss.

One of the top attractions of this year's event is Hundred Years Between at Old Customs House. The showcase is a photography exhibition by Thanpuying Sirikitiya Jensen celebrating the 115th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Thailand and Norway. The exhibited photographs depict the memories and encounters when Jensen visited the Scandinavian country to recount the expedition of King Rama V (her great-great grandfather) when he visited Europe during his cruise trip in 1907.

Located at the square in front of the Grand Postal Building is Bangkok #Safezone Shelter, an installation that also acts as a prototype for public green space and a "shelter" from pollution. The festivals-goers are welcome to lounge and breath in fresh air while attending Bangkok Design Week.
