Food delivery is second nature in Bangkok – boba, yoghurt, ice cream, acai bowls and smoothies, all scrumptious and all delivered in cooler bags.

While those bags can be reused for packed lunches or grocery runs, there are only so many household needs. Before long, they start piling up and collecting dust in a corner of the kitchen.

Now Grab is collecting clean, usable cooler bags for Charoenkrung Pracharak Hospital, where they will be used to store temperature-sensitive medicines for patients.

Drop them at one of nine Grab collection points: Sathorn Prime Tower, UBC 2 The Park, Plan B Tower, Siam Paragon, Siam Discovery, Siam Center, Central Chaengwattana, Central Rama 9 or Central Pinklao. Look for the green Grab drop-off boxes, or donate directly at the hospital.

Before donating, make sure the bags are clean, usable and undamaged. Donations are open until September 30, 2026.

So, when that next boba order arrives with a cooler bag, keep it clean and pass it on.
