Being single finally has its financial perks. The Tourism Authority of Thailand’s Single Journey 2026 campaign brings singles together for free activities, from riding the Royal Blossom train to Kanchanaburi to beach time in Khao Lak and a coffee meet cute at Charter Bangkok in Thonglor.

Under the theme ‘Single and Loving It? Let’s Travel Together’, the campaign has eight total events designed to encourage shared adventures and support local tourism. No need to wait for a friend to be free, plan a solo trip all by yourself or keep postponing that thing you wanted to do. Your plus-one could be someone you haven’t met.

The first Pattaya rooftop film night has passed and registration for the sound bath at Sea Life Bangkok and hiking in Chiang Mai has closed but here are the later five events now open for registration and for fellow singles to mingle.

Ride a train from Bangkok to Kanchanaburi on November 18

Choo choo-se some new company aboard the SRT Royal Blossom, travelling from Hua Lamphong through Nakhon Pathom to Kanchanaburi. There are 80 spaces so possibly 79 new friends. Applications close November 6 at noon – plenty of reason to get on board before the deadline.

Run through Bangkok’s old town on November 21

Morning Run Party pairs a run through historic streets with team challenges and landmark photo stops. There are 120 spaces and applications close November 9 at 11.59pm. Don’t pull a Cinderella and leave it until midnight. You might find someone who can keep up with your pace.

Bring your dog to Rot Fai Park on November 22

A little shy about turning up alone? Bring your furry wingdog to Pet Journey at Rot Fai Park, Bangkok, for games, photo missions and pet passport and travel-tag workshops. The 8am-11am gathering has 120 places and is specifically for applicants who can bring their dog. Applications close November 12 at noon. Who knows, you might have a 101 Dalmations moment and make a double connection for yourself and your four-legged wingman.

Hit the beach in Khao Lak on November 28

Sea Escape Community takes over Memories Beach Bar, Khao Lak, Phang Nga, with a beach run, sound healing, morning meditation, ice bath challenges, DJ sessions and social activities. Applications close November 16 at noon. With 200 spots available, someone will for sure be able to get that perfect beach photo of you.

Grab your morning coffee with strangers at Charter Bangkok, Thonglor on December 6

Morning Coffee Party at Charter Bangkok, Thonglor, runs 9am-noon, with tasting activities inspired by Thailand’s five regions, music and a chance to find people who share your tastes in coffee and travel. There are 120 spaces and applications close November 24 at noon. Start with your favourite brew and see where the conversation goes.

In an age when so many connections are confined to screens, these activities offer a chance for people to put down the phone, step outside and meet people in real life (just like the good ‘ole days).

And who knows where those connections might lead? A new travel buddy, a running partner, a fellow dog lover, a good friend or perhaps something more.

Note: All activities are free, but participants are responsible for their own travel to and from the event venues unless otherwise specified. Registration does not guarantee a place; successful applicants must receive confirmation from the organisers. Events are for eligible single participants aged 20 and above.

Events from Nov 14-Dec 6 2026. Free admission. Apply here.
