It's been a year GET, a Thai-born Gojek-powered ride-calling app has been serving Bangkok's hungry bellies with yummy grub and goodies from thousands of restaurants around the city. From everyone's favorite pizza and fried pork with a 30-year history to spicy salads and amazing coffee—the GET has them all.
To toast its first birthday, GET goes back to review millions of orders made on the app in the past months to come up with a shortlist of Bangkok's most favorite food vendors—14 of them, to be precise, in 14 categories. GET hosted the GET Awards 2020 presentation event last night on Feb 26 at Quartier Cineart, Emquartier, where representatives from the winning restaurants and food brands were presented the awards by the Deputy Director of Department of Business Development, Ministry of Commerce. Joining the event to discuss the food trends in 2020 are renowned Chef Gigg Kamol Chobdeengam, DJ Bookko, and Time Out Bangkok editor Top Koaysomboon.
GET also partners with Time Out Bangkok to publish the first-ever GET Foodie Guide to give you an idea of how Bangkokians ate last year through a list of 30 most-ordered restaurants. The guide will be distributed inside the March 6 issue of Time Out Bangkok magazine.
