Bangkok might be a food lover’s paradise, with street eats on almost every corner, but finding healthy, organic options isn’t always as easy. Thankfully, Bangkok’s Social Development Department knows there’s a growing crowd looking to eat clean. That’s why they host weekly farmers’ markets, where everyone can pick up fresh produce straight from local producers.

At these markets, farmers from districts including Bang Khae, Thawi Watthana, Lat Phrao, Nong Khaem and Phasi Charoen bring a delightful variety of fresh and healthy produce. Expect to find organic vegetables, guavas, aromatic coconuts, bananas, mangoes, coconut pudding, steamed banana cakes, healthy drinks and a selection of nutritious agricultural products – all straight from the farm to your table.

These weekly gatherings run from 5am to 10am at various locations. On Saturdays, you can visit Chatuchak Park (Chatuchak District) and 60th Anniversary Park (Lat Krabang District). On Sundays, the events are hosted at Benjakitti Park (Khlong Toei District, near Gate 1, Ratchadaphisek Road) and Lumphini Park (Pathum Wan District, near the nursery entrance).

So, if you’re on the hunt for healthy products, these weekly farmers’ markets are the place to pick up fresh, healthy produce while supporting local farmers all around the Big Mango.
