To celebrate diversity, inclusion and love in all forms, Siam Center is hosting The World of Freedom & Pride, a series of events that will run throughout June.
The retail establishment teamed up with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) to help further the cause of the LGBTQ+ community and to promote its commitment to creating a “DiversCity Building”, where people of all genders can feel safe, recognized and accepted.
The entire venue has been decked out with the rainbow colors of the Pride flag to illustrate the “diverse spectrums of people in society, regardless of gender, age or differences.” Pop into the Freedom Space and get an Instagram-worthy shot with the vibrant showcase.
Until 3 July, the Atrium 1 zone (G/F) is hosting fun events such as drag shows and dance productions, as well as performances by talented musicians. The Pride Pop Up at IDEA Avenue (G/F) is also offering Pride-themed items from Absolute Siam and LOFT.
Other highlights include a weekend market from 24 to 26 June, and the immersive DOMUNDI x Siam Center, The Secret Theater, inspired by popular Boys Love series Doo Mun Di and Mun Dee Work, on the first floor.
Vogue Thailand will also be staging a fashion show in diversity theme featuring work by young designers.
Siam Center is also rolling out special deals for visitors exclusively for Pride Month. For every B1,500 spent, you get a complimentary PRIDE Oil by Patom (limited to one item per person per day until July 3 or until stocks last). The limited-edition scented oil is a mood-boosting mix of peppermint and eucalyptus.
Restaurants and cafés at Siam Center are also participating in the celebrations by launching special Pride-themed dishes. BAKE WORKS is offering a Strawberry Rhubarb Custard Cream Apple Pie by; Baan Ying has shaved ice with assorted toppings; and Minimelts is serving rainbow ice cream.
