For something more filling, Bangkok’78 makes New Year’s Eve a grander affair, with a buffet (B1,199++ per adult and B599++ per child aged four to 11; from 18:30 to 22:30) serving Thai and international favorites, such as seafood on ice and pasta, and loads of dessert. Early bird reservations are offered at B999++ per adult until December 11.
A special bundle deal for the New Year’s Eve buffet at Bangkok’78 and the Horizon Pool party can be purchased at the price of B3,299++ per adult and B1,499++ per child aged four to 11.
Another party will be hosted at The Black Cat. The feline-inspired lobby bar is welcoming everyone—cat lover or not—for a fun gathering over everyone’s favorite comfort food. For only B1,999 net, a group of two to three guests will receive one pizza, two bar snacks, and a bottle of their selected beverage. This promotion is available throughout December.
For those who are not into dancing and loud music, more low-key celebrations can be had at Sip & Co. and Bangkok’78. The first is serving all-day breakfast and brunch with special dishes, namely shrimp bisque and sous vide Kurobuta pork chop, that are only available during this festive month. But you can also just pop in and refresh yourself with a cool Christmas-appropriate drink.
You can also opt for Thai dining room Bangkok’78. To welcome good fortune for the coming year, the restaurant has released eight new á la carte dishes, including minced pork and shrimp dumplings, Phuket crab curry with rice noodles, and steamed whole sea bass.
