The new MRT Yellow line  is your ticket to one cool happening: a street art fest on Chok Chai 4. Just get off at the Chok Chai 4 station, walk through the fresh market, and find yourself among ruined, abandoned shophouses that have been walled in by colorful pop art murals.

The Lud Pon Festival (its name translates to “set free” in Thai) features works by some of the country’s most talented street artists, including Alex Face, Himbad, Bonus, Asin, Dark1, Chun Smith, Pakorn, panda Dew, Mr.Bows, Komkrit, D.o.D, Loboboy, Bongo, Sorimeo, and mxrnies, each of whom was inspired by the concept of being set free from boundaries and trying to be their own individual selves. Scroll down to see snapshots of the site.

Note: Walk carefully while in the area.
