Bull & Bear is gearing up for its most ambitious dinner on November 9, as it hosts the Shafer Wine Dinner. A thrilling collaboration between the NY-style steakhouse and Shafer Vineyards, the dinner features a multi-course meal that’s prepared by Chef Hathairat Urapanthamat and paired with five different wines.
Founded in Napa Valley’s Stags Leap District in California, Shafer Vineyards has been producing premium reds and whites for over 40 years. Its products bear the Shafer brand of elegance, richness, and balance, and have been recognized by many awards and praised by critics, including wine advocate Robert Parker.
At this exclusive dinner, oenophiles and gourmands will get to sip one of the vineyard’s finest imports, the Shafer Hillside Select Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon 2018, which will be paired with grilled Wagyu striploin MBS9. You will also get the chance to try the single-vineyard Shafer Red Shoulder Ranch Chardonnay 2019, a fitting complement to a beef tartare tart that’s topped with Baeri Royal Caviar.
The dinner will also include the irresistible wine pairing of a Wagyu consommé with black truffle espuma and mushroom ravioli with Shafer Relentless Syrah 2017.
