Le Du, Il Fumo and Vesper team up for a show-stopping Portuguese-Thai cocktail pairing dinner

Thitid “Ton” Tassanakajohn, the chef-owner of modern Thai restaurant Le Du has paired up with the head honcho of Il Fumo, the Italian-cum-Portuguese restaurant to create a spectacular six-course dinner at Il Fumo, which fuses Thai and Portuguese culinary traditions. These culinary delights will be paired with cocktails with Thai and Portuguese influenced created by Vesper’s head bartender Supawit “Palm” Muttarattana. 

Connoisseurs can expect an exquisite pairing of food and cocktails such as a yellow curry of ant larvae with crab and bamboo, paired with Ginjinha & Pollen, a mix of butter-washed tequila, cherry, lemon and saffron. The menu also features wagyu short ribs with port wine to be enjoyed with Brown and Spice, a slightly savory number made of bourbon, sweet vermouth, baeland coriander seed.

The Thai-Portuguese cocktail pairing dinner will be held on 5 June only at Il Fumo for B3,300 (extra B1,000 for cocktail pairing). Call 0 2286 8833 for reservations.
