Erik Lorincz, former head bartender of The American Bar at the prestigious Savoy Hotel in London sets to WOW Thai imbibers at Vesper on the 18-19 May, after having made recent headlines on his departure from the world’s best cocktail bar.

The Slovakian-born bartender was named the 10th head mixologist of The American Bar, after legends such as Harry Craddock - author of the cocktail bible The Savoy Cocktail Book - and Ada Coleman - mother of the classic cocktail Hanky Panky. Under his guidance, The American Bar was recognized as the world’s best bar in World’s 50 Best Bars list. One of his most iconic creations is Green Park, the silky-smooth gin cocktail with tantalizing hints of Italian basil and lemon.

While touring Asia, Lorincz will be making a brief 2-night stop in Bangkok for Vesper's 4th anniversary to deliver critically-acclaimed styles of concoctions. Lorincz will be serving two different sets of drinks on each shift.

During the first shift, Lorincz will serve American Bar classics such as Corpse Reviver No. 2, while putting his own spin on his version of Sesame Hanky Panky on the 18th. For the second shift, you can expect his original creations like Policeman Hook - bourbon, blended vermouth, kombu seaweed, roasted barley and Angostura bitters - as well as popular classics like Aviation and Alaska Cocktail.

Both nights are expected to be sold out, so we highly recommend making advance reservation to guarantee the seating with all cocktails in the set. (B1,900)
