House RCA has been a gem for the city’s cinephiles as it’s one of the very few venues in the city that shows lesser-known independent films, most of which aren’t screened in mainstream cinemas. But going there has always been a pain as it’s located in party hub RCA, which is quite inconvenient to get to during the day. But patrons will no longer have to suffer the traffic along Petchaburi Road just to go see a movie— House RCA is reportedly closing its doors on 31 August, and will be relocating to Samyan Mitrtown, a new mixed-used project in the more accessible and less convoluted Samyan district. Its new name: well, House Samyan.
