Mads Refslund, an advocate of Neo-Nordic frenzies and the co-founder and chef of Noma, will be cooking alongside Turkish chef Fatih Tutak of The House on Sathorn for two nights only on 30 November and 1 December at The Dining Room, The House on Sathorn.

Together with Rene Redzepi and Claus Meyer, Mads gave rise to Noma which was awarded two Michelin-starred award and the title of the world’s best restaurant in The World’s 50 Best Restaurant lists for four years (2010, 2011, 2012 and 2014). After departing Noma, Mads went solo and opened Restaurant MR which received one Michelin star within the first year. Now based in New York City, plans are in motion for him to open “fire-and-ice” concept restaurant which is scheduled to open in 2019.

Mads will join chef Fatih in a four-hand, collaborating dinner (B4,600) in which he will be serving Neo Nordic-influenced dishes like his version of 30-day dry-aged duck served family-style, and green coconut with porcini and black truffle. Expect modern Turkish creation from chef Fatih as in the likes of Jerusalem artichoke with hazelnut and yufka and baby calamari and haricot beans and herbs.
