When Sathorn’s eatery Ocken announces the weekend brunch service, you wouldn’t expect their typical take on brunch items like eggs Benedict and open toast sandwich as served at cafés around Bangkok. Ocken’s recently-launched brunch expects to boost up your weekend luncheon with the creative approach on pan-national bites.

There are dishes like the starter that epitomizes South Asian and Mediterranean eating cultures in the flavorful dipping trio of chicken pea hummus, spicy eggplant dip and tzatziki served alongside warm naan (B340), while the crowd’s favorite avocado toast is given an upgrade and served with top-notch sourdough bread, sprouts and game-changing curried tomato jam (B320). Notorious American fast food items like McMuffin has transformed into Ocken’s very own gourmet version dubbed OcMuffin, seeing a delicious layer of English muffins, fennel sausage patty, cheese and chive omelette (B260). Vietnamese street eat pho becomes a hearty bowl of genmai-infused rice and waygu.

Pair your meal with unlimited serving of Roots coffee or Assam tea (B140/person). Up for heady afternoon? Refreshing cocktails perfect for day-drinking like Smoked tomato Bloody Mary (B280) and Pomelo Margarita are (B320) are ideal accompaniment to your brunch bites.

Available Sat-Sun, 11:30-14:30. Ocken, Sathorn, 08 2091 6174
