Bangkok’s music scene is slowly coming back to life. On 8 August, the city will host its first drive-in music festival at Asiatique the Riverfront.

Entitled “Amazing Thailand TUK TUK Festival,” this upcoming musical event is hosted by Chang Music Connection, in corporation with Woody World, ZAAP and Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT).

The TUK TUK Fest will introduce audiences to a brand-new way of enjoying live music in the “new normal.” Concertgoers will be able to access the concert grounds via their own private tuk tuk, which will bring them to a 16-square-meter spot that they can call their own for the evening. You’re not allowed to move away from this spot, although there will be butlers to cater to your every whim, be it a bottle of beer or a plate of chow, or to escort you to the restrooms.

Popular rock band Potato headlines the event, but will be joined by Parmy, Joey Boy, Stamp Apiwat, Three Man Down, and Taitosmith on stage. Beats by DJ Taidy will keep the fun going in between sets.

Local event organizer ZAAP and Woody World are going the extra mile to keep patrons safe and worry-free. In line with government regulations, the TUK TUK Fest will install professional nurses at the event to help minimize COVID-19 health risks.

Check out the TUK TUK Fest and Chang World Facebook pages to find out how to secure tickets.
