Snooker legend Jimmy White wants to play you at pool in Sukhumvit this August

Fancy playing pool against a six-time World Championship finalist? You’ll get your chance this August, when Jimmy White – the much-loved 'Whirlwind' – brings his cue to Sukhumvit.

On August 11, The Upper Deck Sports Bar on Sukhumvit Soi 20 is handing over its terrace to White for an evening that’s less meet-and-greet, more genuine face-off. Book a frame against him and, if you somehow manage to win, you’ll walk away with a B500 Upper Deck voucher.

White earned the nickname through the fast, attacking style that turned his matches into theatre. His career includes ten ranking titles, the Masters and UK Championship, as well as a maximum 147 break at the Crucible. Now a four-time World Seniors Champion, he remains active on the circuit.

What makes this one worth catching is the proximity. There’s no stadium and no barrier – just a terrace, a pool table and a genuine chance to beat a man who once faced Steve Davis in a World Championship final.
