Anyone who loves a beach club knows it's really a hub of lifestyle experiences for people who enjoy a day by the sea – the food, the drinks, the sunbeds, the swimming pools, the boutique shops and the beachfront activities.
Well, Phuket has just welcomed a newcomer to that scene in August 2025, the awesome 'RAVA Beach Club', stretched along 180 metres of Bang Tao Beach that now holds the title of Thailand's longest beach club.
The headline news is that it hands Sundays over to something special: RAVA Beach Club now launches Pura Vida Brunch, a proper celebration of cracking food, easy lounging and beachfront living. It carries on the legacy of Banyan Tree Phuket's much-loved spreads, reworked for a younger, sharper crowd. Every Sunday from midday to 3.30pm, guests eat, swim and stretch out on sunbeds as one seamless affair, with three infinity pools thrown in. It costs B2,900 per person and includes a bottle of house wine per couple.
The main event
The cooked seafood bar piles on New Zealand mussels, blue swimmer crab, king prawns and local prawns – all of which are given RAVA's signature charcoal-grilled treatment. A charcuterie selection brings thinly sliced Wagyu bresaola, Serrano ham, pastrami and mortadella next to local cheeses and homemade sourdough, while the sausage sizzle counter fires up locally crafted bangers hot off the grill.
Watch sushi chefs roll fresh maki and nigiri to order, and the pasta chefs toss gnocchi, spaghetti or fettuccine with nduja, seafood or carbonara. The carving station is the one most people circle back to – rotisserie beef, roast pork belly, charcoal-grilled chicken, smoked pork ribs and whole local grouper, with jus, mint jelly, apple sauce and mustard. The Thai Corner honours classics like spicy som tum, yum nua yang and chicken with cashew nuts, and you finish at the dessert table with yuzu cheesecake, tiramisu and a make-your-own ice cream bar.
Sun, sea and a glass of fizz
Champagne lovers should note the Veuve Clicquot Brunch, where one can swap the house wine for a bottle of Veuve. Gray's commitment to provenance runs throughout – oysters, Wagyu and lamb are imported for quality, while local farmers, cheesemakers and fishermen supply the grouper, cheeses and sausages.
Also, live DJs and percussionists play against the sound of the waves, and the line-up grows with performers, dancers and parades. Between courses you can walk barefoot to one of the three infinity pools or claim a sunbed, never once leaving the venue.
RAVA Beach Club sits within Laguna Phuket on Bang Tao Beach, a 20-minute transfer from Phuket International Airport.
