Pre-order reservations for Samsung new foldable smartphones are now open, with listed prices start at 34,900 for Flip3 and 57,900 for Fold3.

It seems like Samsung is getting more serious about creating a craze for smartphones with foldable screens—said to be the future of communication devices. Last night, the South Korean tech giant hosted the virtual Galaxy Unpacked event to announce a new gadget lineup—and the two most exciting ones being new foldable smartphones, Galaxy Z Fold3 5G and Galaxy Z Flip3, both of which will be launching into the market at the cheaper starting prices than their previous models.
Galaxy Z Fold3 5G, the third edition of Samsung's flagship foldable phone, boasts a sleeker design and comes packed with upgraded materials and features, from a top-grade aluminum body that's proven to be durable, anti-scratch, and water-resistant, to a foldable 7.6-inch 'Infinity Flex' screen that works the same way as your desktop, to several cameras—one of those will be hidden well underneath the main screen. The Fold3 will also be compatible with Samsung's award-winning S Pen stylus.
Well, it's the younger brother launched along the side that everyone is raving about. The Galaxy Z Flip3 5G will be the brand's first foldable phone that will be launching at US$1,000—around 20% cheaper than the price of the previous model at launch. It is reported that the pricing was decided in conjunction with the company's goal to expand the market by making the phones more accessible. This new-age clamshell smartphone comes with a foldable 6.7-inch screen (that, when laying flat, looks pretty much like a regular smartphone), Dolby Atmos speakers, and several colors for you to choose from.
You can now preorder both new foldable phones, which are expected to arrive in the first week of September.
