If 2019 was the year for smartphones with gigantic screens and over-the-top cameras, 2020 may just be the year of the flip phone.
After successfully launching the Galaxy Fold, its first phone with a foldable screen, last year, Samsung surprised gadget geeks with a newer, smaller version: the compact mirror-sized Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, a style that’s reminiscent of phones during the millennial years.
Presented in sleek purple or black, the Flip features a foldable 6.7-inch screen made of “ultra-thin glass” and equipped with a 21:9 picture ratio. The phone also comes with two top-notch cameras that promise great color and detail in all still and moving images. Technology doesn’t come cheap, though—the Flip will retail for B44,900.
